Dr Ankur Shah
Ankur Shah is a board certified nephrologist at Brown University. He earned his M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After medical school, he completed internship and residency in internal medicine at Temple University, followed by fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as chief fellow in his final year.
Dr. Shah’s clinical interests include quality improvement and home dialysis, he serves as the medical director of the peritoneal dialysis program at the Providence Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He is a graduate of the Nephrology Social Media Collective internship and an alumnus of the 2017 Nephrology Business Leadership University. He additionally has a passion for education, having completed a certificate program in medical education at the University of Pennsylvania and contributing regularly to the blog, renal fellow network.
