Dr. Natasha Dave

Natasha N. Dave, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. After high school, she attended the American University of Antigua where she finished both undergraduate and medical school. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago and then completed her nephrology fellowship and chief year at Baylor in Houston.

Dr. Dave’s clinical and educational interests include quality improvement, tele-health, social media and as her Twitter profile (@NatashaNDave) suggests electrolytes. Her social media journey began with the Nephrology Social Media Collective (NSMC) internship in 2018. After graduating, she is now part of the NSMC executive team, is the social media editor of Kidney Medicine magazine, on the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) Media & Communications committee as well as a faculty contributor for the Renal Fellow Network blog.

Dr. Dave attended Nephrology Business Leadership University (NBLU) in 2017. Afterwards, she wrote about her experience1,2 and has since joined NBLU Communications & Social Media Strategy team. Outside of medicine, her other passions including long distance running, meditation and travel.
